1. Who is responsible

Aimerger is responsible for your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), where it is called the "Data Fiduciary". You can reach us at aimergerindia@gmail.com or +91 87969 25824.

2. What we collect, and why

We collect only what we need for each purpose:

  • Contact form: your name, email, company, the topics you pick and your message. We use them to reply to you and to discuss your project.
  • AI chat assistant (website): the messages you type, and any details you choose to share (such as your name, phone number, email or business). We use them to answer you, and our team may follow up on your enquiry.
  • WhatsApp: if you message us, we receive your WhatsApp number, profile name and messages. An AI assistant may reply for us, and our team can see the conversation. We use it to answer you, prepare proposals and follow up.
  • Shop orders: your name, phone number, delivery address, city, PIN code, the items you ordered and any note. We use them to confirm, deliver and support your order, and we keep them for our accounts.
  • Payment screenshots: if you pay by UPI or QR at checkout, you upload a screenshot of the payment. It can show the amount, the transaction ID, the time, and your UPI name or ID. We use it only to match and verify your payment. It is never shown publicly, only our team can see it, and we keep it with the order records.
  • Payments: when you pay online, the payment gateway processes your payment details. We only receive the result: the amount, a transaction ID and the status. We never receive or store card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN or banking passwords.
  • Reviews: the name and review you submit. They are shown publicly after we approve them.
  • Free tools (video downloader): the link you submit, the details of the video (title, platform, length, quality), your IP address, approximate country, browser type (user agent) and the time. We use them to run the tool, prevent abuse and respond to legal requests. We do not keep copies of the videos.
  • Website analytics: the pages you visit, the referring website, your device type and a random visit ID. This is cookie-free and anonymous. We do not track you if your browser sends "Do Not Track".
  • Security logs: IP addresses and request details of suspicious activity, so that we can block attacks and spam.

3. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising cookies.

Google Analytics (only if you accept). We may use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on page, device, browser and approximate location. It sets cookies (named _ga…) and sends this data to Google, which may process it outside India. It loads only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Reject", nothing from Google loads. You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

Your browser also stores a few small items on your own device:

  • your light or dark theme choice;
  • your shop cart;
  • a random visit ID that is deleted when you close the tab.

The admin panel uses one login cookie, only for our staff.

4. Our legal basis

  • Your consent: you give it when you submit a form, chat with us, message us or place an order.
  • Legitimate uses under section 7 of the DPDP Act: for example, data you share voluntarily for a specific purpose, and meeting our legal duties such as tax and accounting rules.

You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 7 below). This does not affect what was done before you withdrew it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what each partner needs to do their job:

  • Hosting and database providers that run our website and store its data.
  • AI model providers (such as Anthropic and OpenAI): your chat messages are sent to them so they can write the assistant's replies. They act as our processors.
  • Meta (WhatsApp), for messages you exchange with us on WhatsApp.
  • Google (Analytics), only if you accept analytics cookies, to measure how the site is used.
  • Payment gateway partners, to process your payments and refunds.
  • Print-on-demand and courier partners: your name, phone number and address, to print and deliver your order.
  • Government authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside India. When they do, we follow the rules the Government of India sets under the DPDP Act.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries, chats and WhatsApp conversations: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a client.
  • Order, invoice and payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require, generally up to 8 years.
  • Downloader and security logs: 12 months.
  • Analytics: contains no personal data and may be kept longer.

When we no longer need data, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you can:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct, complete, update or delete your data;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to;
  • raise a grievance with us.

To use any of these rights, email aimergerindia@gmail.com from your registered contact, or message us on WhatsApp. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

Our website and services are not meant for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. If you think a child has shared data with us, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We protect your data with:

  • HTTPS encryption;
  • access controls and hashed admin passwords;
  • rate limiting and attack blocking;
  • giving partners only the data they need.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires. See Security & Trust for more, and for how to report a security problem.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes, we will also post a notice on the website.

11. Grievance Officer

  • Grievance Officer: Gourav Singh Bisht
  • Email: aimergerindia@gmail.com
  • Phone: +91 87969 25824
  • Address: Deenpur, Najafgarh, New Delhi 110043
